David E. Duskin

David E. Duskin is a lawyer with extensive background and over 35 years' experience in real estate, estate planning and probate, contract and business law. He began practicing in Arlington in 1974, following his admission to the Washington State Bar. David received his law degree from the University of Idaho in 1974 and graduated from Washington State University, with honors, in 1971 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science (pre-law). He interned with the Whitman County Prosecuting Attorney.
From 1974 to 1979, in addition to his private practice, David served as judge pro-tem and court commissioner at Cascade District Court. He has been admitted and has practiced before all of the Courts of the State of Washington, the Federal District Court for the Western District of Washington, and the Ninth Circuit Federal Court of Appeals. His past professional affiliation included the Washington State Trial Lawyers' Association. He is currently a member of the Snohomish County Bar Association, and the Washington State Bar Association, Real Property and Probate Section.
A lifelong resident of Arlington, David has been active in the community. He is a past president of the Arlington-Smokey Point Chamber of Commerce, the Rotary Club of Arlington, the Board of Directors of the Stillaguamish Senior Center, and the Mount Baker Council of the Boy Scouts of America. He is the president of the Arlington Community Chest, and vice president of the Arlington Education Foundation. He has served on the advisory committee for planned giving of Washington State University, the Board of Directors of the Snohomish County United Way, the Greater Everett Community Foundation, and numerous other philanthropic and service organizations.
David has been recognized for his service by being selected as the Arlington Chamber of Commerce's Citizen of the Year. He has received the Golden Apple Award from the Arlington School District, a Paul Harris Fellowship Award from Rotary, and the Silver Beaver Award from the Boy Scouts for his volunteer efforts with those organizations. His hobbies include WSU Cougar Football, crabbing, fishing and other outdoor activities.
